Hi! My name is Ginger! I'm a happy go-lucky gal who enjoys both having fun and hanging out with my family. I'm 4-1/2 years young, healthy, spry, curious, moderately energetic, spayed, housebroken, and up-to date on my shots. I know how to use a doggie door, I love to go for walks, and I have a great appetite. I don't dig, chew, drool, bark, or get on the furniture. I also enjoy the company of my Basset foster brother & sister! I was scared of them at first, but once I knew they weren't going to hurt me I began to enjoy their company. They help me feel comfortable when my foster parents are away and they are great walking buddies! Since everything in my short life has been taken from me over & over again, I feel the need to bury and then guard any high value treats. My foster mom and I are working on this. Small children also make me nervous, so I'm at my best with older humans. My foster family is very serious about making sure that my next home is my very last home as I have a lot of love to give and deserve an extra special place to give it.
