Dixie - 2569
|
Female
Dixie is a very sweet girl who is as smart as she is beautiful. She came into rescue with a horrible case of bladder stones. Even as miserable as she must have felt, she was so sweet. But now that the stones have been removed, she feels like a new dog! She does need to be on a special diet, which is about the same price like a regular dog food, to prevent the stones from recurring but is otherwise in good health. She loves to go for walks or snuggle up with you on the couch. She is a terrific treat-catcher. She gets along well with other dogs as well as cats and she loves children - even little ones! She has the cutest little freckled face and as you can see from her picture, she has an "A" on her hip which is quite unique. She has a history of being fearful of men but seems to be much improved since her surgery. She still gets a bit scared of some loud noises and please, no yelling. She is a very well-behaved dog but may have been yelled at in the past due to her frequent accidents because of her bladder condition. She has had no accidents since recovering from her surgery. Please consider adopting Dixie. You are sure to fall in love with her sweet face and adorable personality.
